CEEQUAL

CEEQUAL, the assessment and awards scheme for improving sustainability in civil engineering, landscaping and the public realm, and celebrates the achievement of high environmental and social performance, is available in three forms:

Each is an evidence-based achievement award, rather than the result of a competition, and can be applied for at any time.

CEEQUAL:

promotes and delivers improved sustainability in project specification, design and construction

demonstrates the commitment of the civil engineering industry to environmental quality

guides teams throughout their work on the sustainability-driven issues they face and how to tackle them

rigorously assesses performance on management and in 12 areas of environmental and social concern.

A CEEQUAL Award for your civil engineering or public realm project, or contract will identify you as an organisation that:

measures and compares standards of performance

respects people and the society in which it operates

seeks to undertake its work in an ethical and sustainable manner

acts in a socially and environmentally responsible way

actively seeks to protect and enhance the environment

is concerned about the major impacts of civil engineering and public realm works on their neighbours, the environment, the earth’s resources and on quality of life.
